The Bird of the North: 100% Walkthrough Guide
This page solves all fourteen scenes and all four chapters in The Bird of the North, and covers all 12 achievements on the way. You win by filling in every chapter on the corkboard and publishing the finished article on the typewriter.
The short version: read the three newspaper articles and open the window, solve The Kidnapping, then work through the other scenes using the tables below. In The Strike, give everyone the general strike line before you enter the right answers, or that achievement needs a new save. Once every scene is solved, fill in the four chapters, publish, and play through the final scene. Fast bird, one of the two speed achievements, does not have to come on your first playthrough.
Spoiler warning: the tables below give away who every character is, what happens to them, and how the story ends.

How Scenes and Chapters Work
Meet the bird comes during the introduction. Read all three newspaper articles, then click the window.

A scene is solved by choosing what each character in it says. Each table below lists the lines in the left column and the character who says them in the right. Once the correct dialogue is entered it is locked, and you cannot change what anyone says afterwards. Each scene also has an item, given at the top of its section.
The Kidnapping is the first scene. After you finish it, the brother bird (the character whose dialogue you click through) rearranges your office, and that unlocks Investigation map.

From then on, every scene you solve gives you keys that open more scenes. There are fourteen in all, and you can solve the open ones in any order. Opening the last one earns Moon Keys.

Once every scene is solved, you have what the corkboard needs for all four chapters. A chapter asks for its scenes in the right order and a statement about one or two characters. Some chapters can be filled in earlier, depending on which scenes you cleared first, but doing all four together at the end is simpler.
Lines are quoted with the game’s own spelling and spacing, including the space before some ”!” and ”?”. A ”…” inside quotes is the game’s. Where a line is too long to give in full, the cut is marked […]. Two lines contain a swear word, shown here as [swear word].
Most characters are not named when you first see them, so the tables use these labels. The first column is how each one looks the first time they turn up.
