Nightwater: All 10 Boon Locations
Nightwater has ten boons, and each one is hidden behind a small puzzle, either inside one of the minigames or out in the open world. This page tells you where every boon is and exactly what to do to make it appear. When you interact with anything, hold E down for a few seconds. Tapping E or left clicking and walking away does not trigger it.
Seven boons are inside minigames. The last three are in the open world, and all of them start at a gramophone in the desert biome that changes the music. Every section below gives the full solution, so this page spoils each puzzle.

Boon of Curiosity
The Boon of Curiosity is the easiest of the ten. Go into the Dark Thicket and keep to the right-hand side of the map. The boon sits behind the waterfall, so walk through the falling water rather than around it.
Boon of Tenacity
The Boon of Tenacity is also in the Dark Thicket. Open the chest there ten times or more. A few seconds after your tenth opening, the boon appears in the middle of the ruins.
If you are not sure it worked, do the openings at the start of a run and come back to the ruins near the end. That gives the boon plenty of time to appear.
Boon of Growth
The Boon of Growth is in the Oasis minigame. Go to the second shop area and look behind the spot where the autoplanter stands. There is a small purple arrow glowing on the ground. Walk up to it and hold E.
Boon of Rage
The Boon of Rage is in The Mine. Find the wall closest to the rope you come in on and look at its middle. Roughly a third of the way down there is a purple glowing icon. Get close and hold E on it.
Boon of Reflection
The Boon of Reflection is in The Mine as well. Face the way you spawn in and look at the wall on your left. About two thirds of the way down there is another purple glowing icon. Get close and hold E on it.
Boon of Accuracy
The Boon of Accuracy is in Fuel Shortage, and you have to take the hand cannon as your weapon or it cannot be done. Three yellow spheres float just outside the play area. Shoot all three to earn the boon.
A sphere stays destroyed once you hit it, so you can spread the job over as many attempts as you like. We suggest playing a round or two first and picking up a range upgrade before you go for them.
Boon of Speed
The Boon of Speed is in Data Rush. Pick the fourth speedrun. In its first section of moving platforms, watch the outer wall for a ledge of rock jutting out just above the lava. Dash or jump onto it and you pass straight through the wall into a hidden spot with the boon.
The gramophone and the three altars
The last three boons are out in the open world, not inside a minigame, and they share the same first step. Go to the desert biome (the open desert, not the Oasis minigame) and walk round the back of one of the single-storey houses. A gramophone sits on a stack of boxes there. Hold E on it for a few seconds. The music cuts out and a different tune starts.
With the new music playing, head to the altar for the boon you want and hold E on it. You are teleported into a short parkour course, and the thing waiting at the end of it is the boon.
Whether one change of music covers all three altars is not clear. If an altar does nothing, go back to the gramophone and change the music again.
Boon of Strength
The Boon of Strength altar is in the grass area behind spawn. Change the music at the gramophone first (see above), then hold E on the altar.
Boon of Luck
The Boon of Luck altar is indoors, inside a different desert house from the one with the gramophone. Change the music at the gramophone first (see above), then hold E on the altar.
Boon of Determination
The Boon of Determination altar is in the industrial area, behind the five shipping containers stacked together. Change the music at the gramophone first (see above), then hold E on the altar.
