Gladio Mori: All 25 Achievements Guide
Gladio Mori has 25 achievements at the time of writing, and one campaign playthrough plus a lot of extra rounds covers all of them. Expect around 20 hours in total.
The short version: play the tutorial, then beat the campaign on Hard, which unlocks all three campaign achievements at once. Win 10 rounds at each of the four Time Scale settings on Easy. Then work through the five damage kills and the seven named weapons, 20 kills each. Pick up one kill with each of the remaining weapons for Master at Arms. Only one achievement needs setup outside normal play: “Best offence is offence”, which calls for a custom moveset or a mod that lets you strike with a shield. The two kill totals and the 100 round wins fill in along the way, so there is no need to grind them first.
Baby steps
Finish the game’s tutorial. Nothing else is involved.
Campaign: Inceptor, Peritus and Invictus
The campaign pits you against 21 opponents, and there is one achievement for beating all of them on each difficulty.
| Achievement | Beat the campaign on |
|---|---|
| Inceptor | Easy |
| Peritus | Normal |
| Invictus | Hard |
The three stack. Clearing the campaign on Hard pops Invictus, Peritus and Inceptor together, so if you are confident, skip straight to Hard and do it once.
Speed achievements: Lento, Andante, Moderato and Allegro
Four achievements ask for 10 round wins at a set game speed, which the options call the Time Scale.
| Achievement | Time Scale for the 10 wins |
|---|---|
| Lento | 0.25x |
| Andante | 0.50x |
| Moderato | 0.75x |
| Allegro | 1.00x |
Do these on Easy. Every difficulty forces a minimum speed for its matches, and Easy is the only one that lets you pick any of the four. All difficulties can be raised to 1.00x, so Allegro works anywhere.
Veni, vidi, vici
Win 100 rounds in total. The campaign, the speed achievements and everything else you do all add to the count, so there is no need to focus on this one.
Damage kill achievements
Five achievements want 20 kills where the killing blow lands on a particular body part, or the victim bleeds out.
Mindblower
Score 20 kills through brain damage. Any killing blow to the head qualifies, from a blade or a blunt weapon. A slashing weapon like the Longsword is a good pick. Against armoured opponents, switch to a blunt option like the Kanabo.
What are you, a vampire?
Score 20 kills where the opponent dies of blood loss. The kill only counts if bleeding finishes them off, so do not land a final blow yourself. Blunt weapons can cause bleeding, but swords and axes make it faster and easier. Go for dismemberment and take the legs first. A legless opponent cannot chase you down while they bleed out.
You took my breath away
Score 20 kills through lung damage. Any lethal hit to the lungs counts, blunt or edged. Swords and axes are the quickest and most dependable choice here, ahead of piercing or blunt weapons. Swing in from your left so the blade lands on the right side of their torso.
Certified chiropractor
Score 20 kills through spine damage. This covers any lethal blow to the spine, and both decapitations and cutting an opponent in half count. Swords and axes make those two much easier. Getting behind your opponent is another route, since a hit from behind can give a spinal kill with any weapon.
Heartbreaker
Score 20 kills through heart damage. In principle any lethal blow to the heart counts, but at the time of writing blunt weapons are not known to register heart kills, so stick to edged or piercing ones. Lunge with a piercing weapon, or swing an edged weapon in from your right so it strikes the left side of the torso.
Student of the Blade and Master of the Blade
| Achievement | Total kills, any weapon |
|---|---|
| Student of the Blade | 100 |
| Master of the Blade | 500 |
There is no need to farm these. Every kill you make anywhere counts toward both.
Weapon achievements: 20 kills with each
Seven achievements want 20 kills with one specific weapon. Almost any kind of kill counts, with one exception: at the time of writing, kills from blood loss do not count toward these.
| Achievement | Weapon |
|---|---|
| Sword Saint | Katana |
| Zweihander, my beloved | Zweihander |
| I’m Spartacus! | Gladius |
| God of War | Guandao |
| Hammer time | Mallet |
| Lets go a-viking! | Dane Axe |
| Can opener | Pollaxe |
Best offence is offence
Kill someone with a shield. To do it, build a custom moveset that attacks with the shield itself, or install a mod that includes such a moveset. Shield kills do not count toward Master at Arms.
Master at Arms
Get at least one kill with every weapon. The table lists all 32. The last column marks the 25 that none of the seven weapon achievements above give you, so those are the ones to chase. For paired weapons, the name says which half needs the kill.
